If you missed this over at The Dreamer Site, we're having a big old fan art contest. Feel free to submit entries via deviations, and then note me. Issues 1 & 2, a signed sketchbook, a Dreamer button, and... an original drawing of your fav. character is the prize. oh ho ho! So you best think up something good!

Rules? You *can* submit more than one entry. You can work in any media: fan fic, poetry, song, video, err... dance? (why not!), drawing, photo-collage, mini-comic, plushie, painting, cosplay... Whatever. It's open territory! Whatever you do best, do that! Entries are due by August 18th. Huzzah! Good luck!

The Dreamer's Official Sketchbook!

This deviantART account will be used as the official sketchbook for my webcomic, The Dreamer--a story about a teenage girl who begins dreaming about the Revolutionary War. I won't be posting the actual comic pages here, but sketches, character designs, and behind the scenes stuff will all be featured!

Please forgive me but I'm still quite new to this whole DA thing. I'm more familiar with LiveJournal. How do we keep our entries/deviations from being seen by everyone else once they've been uploaded? Is there a way to screen them or make them private?

Um. I really don't think there is a way. I think the whole point of DA is that it's a public gallery for your artwork. ^_^

Anyone else know something I don't...?

~mirtschi: my sympathies as well about your grandfather, I admit I didn't follow it and only noticed now. Lots of strength and I'm looking forward to the next installment of The Dreamer (they should recommend it for history here at schools) ^_^
