I turned on my iPod as soon as I got into my car.  It was automatic, I didn’t think about it and that was the point:   music, distract me, please.   If I’m singing, I’m not thinking.  And I can’t think right now.   Play, dammit, play something!   Then I remember you have to hit the button twice--once to turn it on, and once to start the song.  I didn’t care what song was on the thing, just so it made some noise.  

It obeyed:

Diana had white gloves on.  She was turning the pages, not knowing where to look.  And not knowing where to find something in a Bible is a very daunting task.  Especially when you’re looking for a handwritten note in the margins, and not something you can look up in an index.  She was carefully flipping page by page through Deuteronomy, and then Leviticus, and I couldn’t help wondering what on earth Nathan might have been taking notes on in Leviticus.  Though in his defense, I have notes in my Leviticus.

The Eye of the Storm- VB 2008
 All packed.  The previous night I had gathered most of my things in the hotel room so that leaving this morning would go as smoothly and quickly as possible.  It’s one of the things that I like to consider the night before a ten hour drive home.  I had slept hard, which was good, because I now felt ready for the road.  Just yesterday Tropical Storm Hanna had  visited us here at Virginia Beach as she tore up the east coast, but today you would never have guessed it.  The sun was rising behind the clouds, as evidenced by the pink bands in the sky.  And me?  WeThe Eye of the Storm- VB 2008 by ~comic-chic
Williamsburg Journal Day 1 I woke this morning to the loud hissing and grinding of a train, which sounded close enough that, had I not known that trains run on tracks, I would have worried for my car in the parking lot.  This train was, of course, unknown to me until 3:40 AM (with a reminder at 6:55), but goes a long way to explaining why this hotel, of all hotels on this selfsame street, offered the same amenities for significantly less.  And why 6:30 is a good time to trim and mow outside of guests’ rooms, I’’ll never know.
However, I got here yesterday without event.  The nine hour drive did not feel like nine hours.&#Williamsburg Journal Day 1 by ~comic-chic

Christmas Meme!I hope you all had a great Christmas! I had my first Christmas with the Inneses this weekend, and it was very relaxing. We still have one more "Christmas" to go with my family back in Pennsylvania. So right now, I'm still in the middle of Christmas-time merriment. I hope the season hasn't worn off yet for you either!
1. Wrapping paper or gift bags? Wrapping paper! Gift bags are no fun at all to open!
2. Real tree or artificial? Artificial. I used to cry as a kid--the thought of killing a tree so that you could enjoy it for a few weeks. It made me so sad to see "dead" Christmas trees on the curb after Christmas. Mike & I tried a real tree once after we got married and it was such a mess I said never again. Artificial tree + Evergreen Candle for me!
3. When do you put up the tree? Right after Thanksgiving. I love Christmas trees!
4. When do you take the tree down? After New Year's... that week usually.
5. Do you like eggnog? Like it? :love: I *make*Christmas Meme!

Hi!

I just found out about "The Dreamer" last night and I spent part of the night and most of the morning reading all 16 parts from begining to end and I must say, that it is AMAZING!

The character designs are simply beautiful and you really managed to make the characters come to life. Especially the historical figures like Nathan and such. You manage to balance the drama and romance of the whole story, with just the right hint of comedy thrown in every once in awhile.

Seriously I am in love with that comic and I can't wait to see what happens next. :)

So yesterday I was looking at inception fan art and I came across one with a link to your comic because it used Bea in it... needless to say I finished reading that comic last night at two in the morning haha. I really love it and I just wanted to say what a brilliant job you're doing :)

I recently found your site and read as much of the comic as you had posted there. I am pleased to say it was absolutely amazing. And now that I have found you on dA, thanks to JadeRaven93, I can watch you as you update.

I really love your comic, the story line, characters, and script are fantastically brilliant.
