December 22, 2008I turned on my iPod as soon as I got into my car. It was automatic, I didnt think about it and that was the point: music, distract me, please. If Im singing, Im not thinking. And I cant think right now. Play, dammit, play something! Then I remember you have to hit the button twice--once to turn it on, and once to start the song. I didnt care what song was on the thing, just so it made some noise. It obeyed:But my heart, it dont beat, it dont beat the way it used to...It was inappropriately app
Nathan Hale, Bibles and SuchOf Nathan Hale, Bibles and Such Diana had white gloves on. She was turning the pages, not knowing where to look. This train was, of course, unknown to me until 3:40 AM (with a reminder at 6:55), but goes a long way to explaining why this hotel, of all hotels on this selfsame street, offered the same amenities for significantly less. And why 6:30 is a good time to trim and mow outside of guests rooms, Ill never know. However, I got here yesterday without event. The nine hour drive did not feel like nine hours.
