Here are my sketches for The Dreamer Volume 2 cover. I drew it all digitally, so I was able to move each character around and tweak the composition a lot easier. I don't think I'll ever go back to working traditionally. I guess some people think that's a weakness, I think it's taking advantage of the tools available to you.

You can see the final (digital) painting here: [link]

You can order your copy through Amazon...

...or any other bookstore using the ISBN #: 978-1-61377 – 031-3

The Dreamer is my historical fiction, time travel romantic adventure story. Either buy the collected versions, or read online every Wednesday and Friday! [link]

I think the only problem with drawing digital is that if you do it too much you'll forget how to do it traditionally, or more like "its so much of a bother to draw on paper when you can just do it easy on the computer" XD. I think especially comics are a lot easier to make when it is digital it spares you from a lot of frustration, and honestly i can't stand the whole scanning process with each and every page. Amazing work, love the coloring !

Yeah, but if you don't do digital all the time you forget how to do that too. I'm just all about making art the most efficient way possible. Making comics takes forever. Aside from street cred, I don't see the advantage of drawing them on paper anymore.

Thanks so much for the compliment!

I admire people who can work all-digitally. I can't wrap my brain around it.

Anyway, I love this cover! The composition is great, and seeing your initial stages is really cool.

thanks! It took me a long time to move over to 100% digital. But now that I'm here I can't imagine going back: I save so much time!

So you do your inking digitally too? How does that work for you? It seems like that would be hard! O__O
