Sephiroth Circa 1998by ~comic-chic

I'm working on putting a submission together for a site called Art Bloom. They collect old art from artists and compare it to their current work, as a way to encourage aspiring artists that even their heroes were once crappy.

I was home in Pennsylvania this weekend and got all my old sketchbooks from my parents attic, and in there I found this piece: Sephiroth!!! This is from my senior year of High School, I was probably 18 when I drew this.

I think... it still stands up. It's not crappy enough to put on Art Bloom so I thought I'd share it here.

Ha!!! How did I miss this? I loved FF7 so much. The materia combat system was THE best. I think I'll have to go watch Advent Children again. Awesome picture Lora! Especially with all that cool BLACK.

Pffff, I can't draw like this now.
