I just got back from Heroes Con in Charlotte. They do an auction there each year where artists donate pieces of their work. I did this piece for the auction Saturday afternoon while I was at the show. I used blue pencil and ink on cold press illustration board. I don't ink much, but I thought the piece would show up better if I did. I borrowed some pens from the Blue Line Pro guys who are dear old friends of mine.
This piece went for $200 which wasn't bad given that it was one of the last pieces in the auction. |
