The final round of Senior announcements for 2009!

Here's the last panel on the last page of Issue #2 of my webcomic The Dreamer which went live today.
Another issue finished, and it feels great! I love this panel. I had it opened at 100% on my brand new 24" wide screen monitor and it stretched across the whole screen and I almost peed myself. New computers, such joy!! Going from a seven year old, 15 inch iMac to my new monitor & Mac Pro is exactly how the man at the Apple Store told me it would be: like going from an old, beat up VW to a Ferarri. Honest to goodness save times of 2 seconds in Photoshop! And that was with three 8 layered, 300 dpi, 11 x 17" files open, and I was running Safari, iTunes, and Comic Life at the same time. I'm in freaking heaven! Seven years is too long to wait for a new machine when dealing with iMacs. O_o Anyway, about this pic, I love it and it's a shame it had to be so small on the final page. I love Colonel Knowlton, and we will get to know him a lot better in upcoming issues. He's not all grunts and growls. Oh, and if you've been following me here on devART for awhile, you might recognize the young man who pops up in the first panel of page 25. We'll get to know him better soon enough, as well. If you haven't finished reading the second issue of The Dreamer yet, why not? [link] |
