I turned on my iPod as soon as I got into my car.  It was automatic, I didn’t think about it and that was the point:   music, distract me, please.   If I’m singing, I’m not thinking.  And I can’t think right now.   Play, dammit, play something!   Then I remember you have to hit the button twice--once to turn it on, and once to start the song.  I didn’t care what song was on the thing, just so it made some noise.  

It obeyed:

“But my heart, it don’t beat, it don’t beat the way it used to...”

I'm working on a two page "Countdown to a Revolution" which will be a timeline of events leading up to the events in The Dreamer. We're putting it at the beginning of the Graphic Novel, before Issue #1.

I've been deciding what style I want to use for it, this little Patrick Henry is one such attempt. I think he might be too detailed to read really well when I reduce him. Though screen does read differently than print.

I was also tossing around the idea of doing it sort of sketchy, in blue ball point pen on ruled, three holed pages, as if it were someone's notes. Unfortunately, I don't think that will fit well with the rest of the style of the book, as most of it will have a old, vintage feel to it.

Hmm, decisions, decisions. I also have too much info right now. I have about four pages worth of events and I need to cut it down to two, lol! I guess I think everything is worth nothing. ^^; Mr. Henry might not even make the cut, so enjoy him now! :D

Patrick Henry is my favorite of the Patriots!

I used to walk around in like the second grade reciting fragment of the "Give me Death" Speech. C: Pleeeaaaasssseeee keep him!

speaking of events, i'm going to watch the lexington reenactment on monday! *squee* i think this is my 6th time? i love dragging friends along and then boring them to death with the history :D
