LauraNikky the story of how I broke into the comic book industry when I was in college. It got me thinking of that first portfolio I assembled my junior year. So I pulled it out and flipped through it, and found this drawing.
Meet Gayorg the Conqueror. (Don't ask.) I remember where I was when I did this piece--in the CCAD school auditorium for Film & Literature class. And I must've been bored, and so I came up with this drawing in my notebook of (my then boyfriend) Mike Innes as... well, a kilted, viking superhero with a big William Wallace sword. And leather jacket because Mike without a leather jacket is like... the Fonz without one.
Anyway, this piece is probably from 2000. It's old and rusty, but it's still fun, so I thought I'd share!
