The girls who do The Battle of Dovecoat Crest were taking a break between the story arcs, and asked for fan art donations. I really enjoy their comic, it's a simple romance story about reenactors at an obscure battle site of the Civil War. Charlie is the recent college grad with big dreams for her future, until she finds herself director of Dovecoat Crest. She can't wait to get out of there, and onto a real historians job... until she meets Jeremy. Romance & antics & great supporting characters ensue.

If you haven't read it, check it out. Doing fan art was fun, as was drawing *Civil* War costumes for a change!

Wow lovely. And yeah mid-Victorian clothes are fun to draw I think. Though forgot if the tri-corner was still popular. (Know it was in the 1830's.) Oh well. Fun.

Aaah, I only just found this comic two weeks ago, I should have known you would be a fan of it! It's quite good, I'm looking forward to whenever it starts up again. And I love how you drew the Civil War uniforms here :D
