This is a concept sketch I did for an upcoming scene in my webcomic The Dreamer. The main heroine, who has been suffering the annoying inconveinence of waking up in the past every time she falls asleep, suffers a nervous breakdown after she realizes the hazards of eighteenth century warfare. Her handsome new soldier friend, Alan Warren, tries to calm her down. I'm not sure if it's working...

I'm an ex-animator, so I draw with a non-photo blue pencil...

my third year studying animation I realized that an animator gets to do one job. and that's usually drawing in between someone else's drawings. I love creating, and telling stories, and I wouldn't get to do either being an animator!

I've loved comics since I was 14 so I changed career goals and haven't looked back! A lot of my training as an animator has really helped me I think at capturing emotions and poses in a way that tells a story. And it helped me learn to draw quickly!

She tasted like rain and water and sun and sea salt all mixed together, and the feeling of that green skin on hers was intoxicating.

When the first baby laughed for the first time, its laugh broke into a thousand pieces, and they all went skipping about, and that was the beginning of fairies.
Oh i love the lines. And okay, I admit it, especially how you do the hair. It feeds the emotional feel perfectly.
