Thanks for all of the birthday wishes last week!  I was on the road and didn't see them until today.

I was driving for TWELVE days. I went from my home in Columbus, Ohio to Anime Boston then drove over to Chicago, IL for the C2E2 convention and just got home again yesterday.  It was really fun to spend my birthday in Boston. I went to the Old South Meeting House and got a private tour up the belltower to see the Paul Revere bell they recently put up there.  Then we went over to Bunker Hill, my favorite spot on the Freedom Trail to meet Dr. Sam Forman (Dr. Joseph Warren's latest biographer) for lunch at the Warren Tavern, named after Dr. Warren and was the first building rebuilt after the British burnt Charlestown in 1775.

After that I drove to Hartford, CN to spend the night with a friend. On my way in I stopped at Ashford, CN to see where Colonel Thomas Knowlton used to live.

It was a long day,but a great one!

So thanks for all the birthday wishes, I feel the love!

Somehow I found a way to do all these things at once. I write and draw the Award-Winning, time travel adventure story The Dreamer, set in the Revolutionary War. (IDW Publishing) I'm also writing three graphic novel tie-ins for TO APPOMATTOX, an 8-part television mini-series event about the Civil War starring Rob Lowe.

With my co-host Chris Oatley, we produce the Paper Wings Podcast, a show for visual storytellers. Visit the website for resources pertaining to how to make the most of your own artistic career: www.paperwingspocast.com

I read the two first issues to your comic, it is really good and very interesting.

Yeah, the art is really good, is the art all digital? I kind of want to make my own comics, but I'm not sure if I have the patience or talent.

For the first ten issues I think all the drawing is traditional and the colors are digital. After that the art goes 100% digital.

You should check out my podcast/ blog about making comics. It might be helpful to you! [link]
